(3) Death Registration

Registration of death can be done at the local police. If doctors can't certify the cause of death, it is recommended to call the police and be helpful in this matter.

(4) Arrange for the wake services

There are some questions you as a client need to answer on this subject. The wake service differs, in the light of religion or caste or culture. It depends, it can be settled in 5-days, or can be extended to 7-days, or 10-days.

The location of wake could be a rental at Pashupatinath Kiriya Sthal, or could be home, apartment as suggested. Consider the convenience factor when deciding the location.

A local brahmin can be appointed anonymously on client's behalf to fulfill the wake ritual.
